Dog Walkers, Cat Feeders, Pet Taxi Drivers and all round Pet Sitting Legends!
Dogs and Mogs was formed by Claudia Hayter and Julie Holmes, as a result of spending many years dog walking together and sharing a long friendship and mutual love of animals.

Claudia and Julie both own working dogs and have five rescue cats between them. So, if your dogs or cats need looking after and some TLC when you can’t be there, you can rest assured they will be in safe paws with Dogs and Mogs. Both Claudia and Julie are Pet First Aid trained, as well as trained to administer Insulin injections. We also have experience of dealing with asthmatic cats, administering steroid inhalers.
Claudia worked in retail management for many years and then twelve years in teaching. She lives in Leavesden with her husband who works in the veterinary sector. They share their home with Monty an epileptic American Cocker and Connie, an ex-breeding rescue Cocker Spaniel. Claudia also has four rescue cats – Millie, Gus, Archie and Purdy, Sadly Mac her beloved Border Collie has taken up his post in doggy heaven.

“Animals have always been a big part of my life. I cannot imagine a time I wouldn’t be sharing my life with them. When we started Dogs and Mogs we wanted to be the dog walker or cat carer that we would be happy to use for our pets and this will always be our ethos“
– Claudia
Julie spent twenty years as a Police Officer. She lives in Garston with her husband who is a police officer and twin daughters. They share their home with Blackjack, a black / tan Cocker Spaniel and Bilbo a rescue Cocker who was a failed stud dog (but don’t tell him that!!). Julie also has a rescue cat called Frisbee, from Battersea Cat and Dog Home. He is quite a character and very well known in the area!

“I have always wanted to work more closely with animals. So, when the opportunity arose to do just that by starting my own business – I didn’t hesitate”
– Julie
